Wine & Gastronomy

At Passeport we know great wine and we know great food. As part of our philosophy, in all our itineraries we include the finest culinary experiences and, from time to time, we are asked to use our expertise to create tours in which gastronomy and wine are the central focus.

We have worked in some of the top culinary regions of the world: Tuscany, Umbria, Piedmont, Burgundy, Provence, Bordeaux, Northern Spain, Istanbul and South America and many, many more. Over time we have a accumulated a whole range of great contacts within the wine and gastronomy sectors that are absolutely second to none.

Our team painstakingly researches up-and-coming chefs and exciting new winemakers. We keep our ear to the ground and monitor new openings, we speak to Masters of Wine, we consult with Michelin-rated chefs and create unique itineraries that highlight a region’s flavours in the most interesting and exciting ways.

We have developed itineraries that include cooking classes with Michelin-starred chefs, talks by prominent food writers and wine tastings at the most hard-to-access wineries with well-known Masters of Wine. We also regularly visit the tiniest artisans that make culinary history in their own traditional ways, from the balsamic vinegar maker in his Tuscan Acetaia to the Maître Chocolatier in his Parisian studio.
